The famous temple of Muktinath lies in the district of Mustang. Muktinath is a pilgrimage place for both Buddhist and Hindu. It is situated 48 km north east of Jomsom at an altitude of about 3749 m. Its main shrine is a pagoda-shaped temple dedicated to lord Vishnu. Behind the temple there are 108 waterspouts cast in the shape of cow headed pour holy water. Here lots of pilgrimage takes bath from the ice-cold holy water. The temple is situated on a high mountain range. During the festival of Janai Purnima, Hindu devotees gather here to pay homage to lord Muktinath. Another famous temple of Jwaladevi, the goddess of flame, is situated about hundred meters south of Muktinath.

Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu and Transfer to Luxury hotel (1300m)

Early morning at around 5am, you will be taken a Mount Everest scenic flights for 45min. You will see the major Mountains of Himalayas. Then we will back to hotel, after taking the breakfast, we will for a visit the Hindu culture in Nepal, Pashupatinath. This is the place where holy saddhus pray and cremations on the Bagmati River are carried out. We then continue to the holiest shrine for the Buddhist culture in Nepal, Bouddhanath, with its large stupa, this is the place where all devout Buddhists come for a pilgrimage. After completion of these two spots, you will be taken for sightseeing to City Durbar Square. This square is famous for old palaces, temples, Kumari Ghar and so on. Now we move on to Syambhunath, famous world heritage sight with magnificent views of the Kathmandu valley and tribute to Buddhism.
Day 03: 3 Hrs Scenic Helicopter Ride Kathmandu to Muktinath (3750m) and Back to Kathmandu.After Early Breakfast, transfer to Airport, fly to Muktinath by Helicopter. Arrival at Ranipauwa walks to Muktinath temple 40 Min. It takes 10 min if you go by motor bike (2 wheeler) to the main entrance of temple, arrive in temple, have holy bath on 108 waterspouts & 2 Kunda, Have darshan and worship to Muktinath god walk to Jwalamai Temple and walk back to Ranipauwa, fly back to Kathmandu, transfer to hotel, free time for rest, overnight. It is believed that all miseries / sorrows are relieved once you visit this temple (Mukti=Nirvana, Nath=God). The main shrine is a pagoda shaped temple dedicated to Lord Vishnu. Set into the wall around it is 108 waterspouts from which pour holy water. For Hindus, beside the natural fire representing Brahma and the holy waters, the central meaning of the Muktinath area is the veneration of the god Vishnu in the form of ammonites (shilas) called Salagrama-Shilas. Day 04: Bhaktapur Historical City Cultural Tour and Drive Back to KathmanduEarly morning Bhaktapur City is just a 14 km east of Kathmandu. Bhaktapur means the city of devotees and is a center of potter and intriguing masks. The major sight seeing places are, Durbar Square, of 55 windows, Nyatapola, Bhairavnath Temple, Dattatreya Temple, etc.
Day 05: Final Departure Home Country
You are saying good bye to the mountains as your holiday tour of Nepal comes to an end today!
